Solo Magia is a book that I weaved/wrote along Indian writer Monali Roy and that is illustrated by some of the best international artists that I know of and with whom I worked in the past, am working in the present and will definitely work in the future.
It depicts love throughout ages...
It must be served along an infusion tea with oranges and apples in the company of a "pastel de nata" with coffee and a vintage port wine cup.
It follows ancient Portuguese Indian empire roots...
It tells about Indian folklore and even lost manuscripts that were sent to the Indian Ocean in Sankrist and to the Atlantic Ocean in ancient Portuguese language.
It calculates the path that Durga Puja, Vishnu, Maya, Brahma, Shiva, Camões, Vasco da Gama, Afonso de Albuquerque took in order to embrace Buda inside Nirvana's state.
It's fun...
It's not only a narrative...
It's a love story...
It's the chewing gum that you love to chew...
It's a love story passed in several cities in the world...
It's a reflection of what the world should be...
It displays not only love, but also lust for life, for human bodies that have more than one identity...
It features several women who are not only writer's muses/partners but also objects of art...
It turns dreams into reality inside an odyssey around the world...
It displays more than a football game while converting it into art...
It tells a bit the story of Jesus Christ's holy grail and the Bengali tiger as a dominant animal species.
It depicts and dissects a food dish named Rogan Josh and another one named "Francesinha".
It's not a corpse because it clearly mentions life itself in planet Earth's biosphere.
Solo Magia is also an exhibition that is being shown at Institute Camões in New Delhi from 14th October to 6th December of 2024 in embassy of Portugal, Camões institute located at
4, Panchsheel Marg, Block B, Diplomatic Enclave, Chanakyapuri, New Delhi, Delhi 110021, India

Some Indian writers, singers and artists have already visited it and the feedback is astonishing.
It's funny that at the same time that the exhibition is being held appeared in it Portuguese writer Alexandra Lucas Coelho that came to India to participate in a European writers’ encounter called "Long Night of Literatures" organized by EUNIC at the end of September (Delhi and Kolkata) and she decided to stay there writing and travelling for another month. On the last day of her Journey in India, she joined the Camões - Portuguese Cultural Centre the 25th of October (4.30pm) in a talk about this transformative experience that will translate soon in a couple of new books (one fictional and one non-fictional). The writer talked with Monali about her writing and books along Solo Magia's concept.
She says that I'm big in India and that I must fly there inside a writing tour and I don't know what to say most of the times to her.
Monali isn't only a tales weaver, she took care of all details in the exhibition along her daughter Reetun and she even told me that students and institute's staff helped her.
The feedback that we're having is excellent, so for now (like always in my life), I don't know if my place is in India or Portugal, Europe or Asia.
I know that I'm made of flesh, bones and a beating heart and I really love to use it in life.

New Delhi has a good art exhibition featuring two huge books with artworks by some of the best international artists that I know of.
In this exhibition, writers Me and Monali Roy want to show to New Delhi inhabitants a simple mix of what's love and affection in today's world through art inside the before mentioned books...
Hoping that every single visitor of it can feel inside him or her all feelings and emotions that this narrative can trigger inside a single human being.
Saudade and Amor aren't simply words in this exhibition.
Me and Monali are planning for this exhibition to turn into a tour inside India and ancient Portuguese Asian empire.
Below are pics of the exhibition and the 2 books being exhibited there also.
