In some previous posts in this same blogue I've organized a tribute project to Hugo Pratt's fashion character Corto Maltese with help by some of the best international artists that I know of.
I know that some artists created artworks not only based on Corto but also on me for my own autobiography that I'm writing along several other projects at the same time.
During this dark period in this planet blue that we all share with millions of living species named Covid, I've thought on mixing Corto's project with a new one based on John Constantine just because in my mind, they're two sides of the same coin, one bringing dreams and light and other nightmares, inner demons and darkness.
What I know is that I follow both characters since I was a simple teenager.
Below is some info about J.C. that in my opinion is the best comic book character ever.
I remember the astonishing book covers with design by Dave Mckean published by Titan Books in glorious black & white and the first edition also by Titan Books in colour.
Maybe its first appearance was at DC Sampler 3 as promo to Alan Moore's Swamp Thing's run.
Alan Moore developed the character along Steve Bissette and Jamie (who wasn't Delano at all and that borrowed his name from Alan's first wife Phyllis Moore's lover Deborah Delano) developed the ideas for this character.
Also below are simple pictures with ideas that I'm developing regarding this new project also with some new tributes to Corto or Constantine by international artists.
This will be an hard project to write and I truly hope that I can do a good tribute while writing about these two fascinating characters with help by some of the best international artists that I know of and with help by their magnificient artworks.

Many thanks to all international artists that believe in some of my ideas regarding exhibitions or book projects.
Special thanks to my soulmate Hélia and to Nadya
Stay tuned for more info about this project in this blogue and I bid you farewell with a video dedicated to Hellblazer being the lyrics and video for the song printed in Hellblazer Annual 1, written by Jamie Delano with art by Dean Motter. In the story, the song was the only single that Mucous Membrane, John Constantine's punk band, ever released. It was written by John Constantine and Gary Lester and released in 1978, by "Snot Music" record label.
